Who we are

This policy describes how Style & Zen, a home organization service based in Los Angeles, California, handles information through styleandzen.com, our project questionnaires and related communications. For privacy questions or requests, email styleandzen.us@gmail.com.

Information we collect

• Contact and inquiry details: your full name, email address, city, ZIP code, selected services and spaces, preferred reply method, phone number (required on the initial inquiry form), and any message you provide.
• Project details: questionnaire answers about your home, household routines, storage, belongings, preferences, timing and budget; and an address when needed to arrange a visit.
• Files you choose to share: photos, videos, measurements and documents, including filenames and upload details. These may reveal details of your home and may contain metadata created by your device.
• Communications and activity: emails or text messages exchanged with us, saved questionnaire progress, submission dates, appointment details, project notes, proposals, agreements, agreed budgets, recorded payment status and email delivery status. The website does not collect payment card numbers or online banking passwords.
• Technical information: our hosting and security providers may process IP addresses, browser or device information, request logs and sign-in information. The website also uses a temporary hashed identifier based on an IP address to limit abusive form submissions.

Please share only what is needed for your project. Avoid uploading identification documents, payment card details, medical records or photos showing people or private paperwork. You can describe a practical access or storage need without sharing a diagnosis. Please obtain permission before sharing another person's personal information.

How we use your information

We use this information to respond to inquiries, send and review questionnaires, understand your needs, prepare proposals and organizing plans, coordinate visits, recommend products, provide requested services and maintain project records. We also use it to save progress, protect access and troubleshoot the website.

If you choose SMS as your preferred reply method, we may text you about your inquiry or project. Automated questionnaire emails are sent by email. Providing a phone number does not subscribe you to promotional texts.

Who receives information

Style & Zen uses service providers to operate the website, store project information and communicate with you. These include providers of website hosting and secure access, data and file storage, email and communications, appointment scheduling, and project-planning tools. Relevant contact details, appointment information or project materials may be processed by these providers as needed for those purposes. Email and telephone providers process communications sent through their services. Providers may process information in the United States or other countries where they operate.

Information may also be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, respond to valid legal requests, protect rights and security, or carry out an action you authorize. We do not sell your personal information or share it for targeted advertising. Client photos and project details are not published in our portfolio or marketing without separate permission.

Our Gmail connection

Only the authorized Style & Zen administrator connects the business Gmail account. Clients do not need to connect their Gmail accounts to receive or complete a questionnaire.

The connection verifies the administrator's Google email address and requests permission to send email through that account. It is used for questionnaire invitations, inquiry confirmations, submission receipts, project correspondence, measurement invitations, reminders and follow-up messages. The Gmail connection does not request permission to read the Gmail inbox or access contacts, calendars or Google Drive. Replies you send are read by Style & Zen in the business mailbox as ordinary correspondence.

Google authorization credentials are stored encrypted on the server. The administrator can disconnect Gmail in the site's email settings or revoke access through their Google Account. Disconnecting removes the stored Gmail connection from the website; it does not delete previously sent emails or client project records.

Style & Zen's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Google API data is not used for advertising, sold, or used to train general-purpose AI models.

Cookies and website technology

Hosting and sign-in services may use cookies required for access and security. The Gmail connection uses a short-lived security cookie during administrator authorization. We have not added advertising pixels or marketing analytics to this website. The site does not currently change its behavior in response to browser Do Not Track signals. We do not intentionally enable third parties to track visitors across unrelated websites for advertising through our site.

Storage, retention and security

Saved answers and uploaded files are stored with the project's hosting providers. Questionnaire access uses a personal link, and administrative access to client records is restricted. Anyone who has your personal questionnaire or measurement link may be able to access the associated answers, measurements and permitted attachments while the link is valid, so please keep these links private. Contact us if a link has been shared by mistake.

Personal questionnaire and measurement links are normally valid for 90 days. Expiration of a link does not automatically delete the associated information. Project records and files are retained as needed to handle your inquiry, provide services and follow-up, maintain business records and meet applicable legal obligations. You may request deletion at any time using the contact below. Some records may need to be retained for legal or accounting reasons, and provider backups may remain until their normal removal cycle.

We use HTTPS, restricted access and other safeguards appropriate to the website. No online transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your choices and requests

You can leave optional questions unanswered. You can save questionnaire progress and update answers before submission. After submitting, you can return through the same valid link to add project photos; contact us to correct submitted answers. To request access to, a copy of, correction of, or deletion of your information, email styleandzen.us@gmail.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting. We will respond as required by applicable law and explain any limitation that applies.

You may also ask us to change your preferred communication method or stop contacting you about an inquiry. Removing information needed to plan or deliver a project may limit the services we can provide.

Children's information

Our website and inquiry forms are intended for adults arranging home organization services, not children under 13. Parents or guardians may describe household routines relevant to a project, but should avoid providing children's full names or other unnecessary identifying details. Contact us if you believe a child has submitted personal information directly so we can address it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services or website change. The effective date above identifies the current version. The October 7, 2026 update clarifies measurement links, project documents, follow-up messages and the categories of service providers that process project information. Material changes will be explained on this page and, when appropriate or required, communicated directly before a new use of previously collected information.
